NZIQS Canterbury: Firth Industries Concrete Plant Site Visit

NZIQS members are invited to attend this hands on site visit.  The visit will cover

• Specification details when costing, Slump and Slump tolerance - what these mean and the importance of them
• Are you ordering and getting what has been specified
• Cement - from receiving to batching
• Testing - we will do a full set of tests including slump and yield. 

This is an NZIQS member only limited attendee event.

PPE required - hard hat, hi vis, steel cap boots*

* Note those wanting to do a slump test and work with the concrete will also need to bring safety glasses and gloves
